The architectural approach of the headquarters of AETOS AVEME company, in VI.PE Drama Greece, was mainly targeted on the total renovation and the creation of a modern workplace with spacious offices that encourage productivity and teamwork in the workplace.
The architectural team completely respecting the natural materials that nature "gives birth" and FHL KYRIAKIDIS group offers, created a distinctive professional space of premium aesthetics.
It is a two level and basement building with large openings and a glass roof where natural light is allowed to diffuse throughout the building making it more accessible and pleasant. The visitor entering the building faces the reception area with the imposing reception made of walnut veneer wood and gray marble.
AETOS AVEME office space is exclusively designed custom made for the needs of the staff, and characterized by the emphasis on functionality with a minimalist approach that highlights the Greek marble. Natural materials such as marble and wood are stand out and highlight the workplace as a "white canvas" that comes to life with the earthy shades of natural walnut wood in the furniture such as conference tables, desks, cabinets, and reception areas.
Floors, wall surfaces as well as details of the building are covered by Volakas and Prinos marble.
Using glass partitions, with black metal carved detailing achieves a visual saving of space and facilitates collaboration and teamwork by creating the sense of transparency required of such a company with global transactions. In addition, natural light is allowed to penetrate the building in all its aspects and create a feeling of freedom. The elevator area was also covered with the same black metal partitions to maintain the uniformity and aesthetics of the area. The visitor's entry into it, is a special experience, where as he goes up, faces the glass dome which, in combination with the glass ball lights, is "transported" for a while to a different world, into a dreamy atrium.
The entire flow of the second floor spins around an interior vertical garden that is visible from all points of the floor as well as the elevator.
There is a sense of order and balance in the space that lends the required sense of professionalism and prestige to the company.
The lighting beyond the natural light is enhanced with glass fixtures and straight lines of LED lighting. The lighting of the offices well designed by Artemide company, characterise a modern and refined character space.
Outdoor of the building, an architectural system with elliptical blinds from EXALCO company chosen for controlled shading and natural lighting as well as great energy saving and an aesthetic improvement of the building.
